Who we are: SafePawse LLC (“SafePawse,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides in-room pet sitting and dog walking services for travelers and locals in New Orleans.

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our site.
Booking & account info: name, email, phone, billing address, hotel/Airbnb and contact details, pet details (name, breed, age, vet info you choose to share), service preferences, notes, messages.
Payment info: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Communications: emails, texts, DMs, forms, and support requests.
Automatically collected: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, referring URLs, general location, cookies and similar technologies (analytics, site performance, security).
Media you send: photos/videos of pets for scheduling or updates (with your permission).
Provide, schedule, and manage services and bookings.
Communicate about requests, confirmations, reminders, updates, and support.
Process payments, prevent fraud, and send receipts.
Improve the website and services (analytics, troubleshooting).
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
With your consent, you grant SafePawse LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display pet photos/videos you provide (or we capture during a service) for marketing (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, brochures). Consent is optional and not required to receive services. You may revoke consent at any time by emailing hello@safepawse.com; this will stop new uses and we will take down our posts where feasible.
We process data under: contract (to deliver booked services), legitimate interests (security, improvement, anti-fraud), consent (optional marketing/photos), and legal obligation (tax, accounting).
We share only as needed to run our business:
Vendors/processors: website hosting, email, booking platform (e.g., LatePoint), payment processing (Stripe), analytics, security, customer messaging.
Venues/hotels (when requested): for access/security or Additional Insured certificates.
Veterinarians/emergency services: if needed to protect a pet’s health or safety.
Legal/compliance: to comply with law, enforce policies, or protect rights and safety.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process your payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. We do not store full card data.
We use necessary cookies (security, session) and may use analytics cookies to understand site performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect site features.
We keep data only as long as needed for our services and legal/financial obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Typical periods:
• Bookings, invoices, tax records: up to 7 years.
• Messages/notes and pet care details: up to 3 years after your last booking.
• COIs/insurance-related docs: up to 5 years.
You can request deletion; we’ll keep what we must for law/tax or dispute resolution.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, device encryption, limited access). No method is 100% secure.
Access, update, or delete your information.
Opt out of marketing at any time (unsubscribe link or email us).
California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access/portability, correction, deletion, and to opt out of “selling or sharing” personal information (we do not sell personal information).
EEA/UK: you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability; you can withdraw consent where relied upon. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority.

Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new date above and, if changes are significant, provide additional notice.
